Anna Beadle

Opelousas- A Private Funeral Service was held for Anna Lee Doucet Beadle at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 13, 2019, at the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas. Deacon Sammy Diesi conducted the service. Burial followed at Bellevue Memorial Park.

Mrs. Beadle, age 98, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at her residence.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Beadle Smith of Opelousas; son-in-law, Dwight Fontenot of Youngsville; 5 grandchildren, Brandi Smith Zeringue and husband Joey, Brittani Smith Reddoch and husband Jeffrey, Nancy Fontenot Soileau and husband Craig, Natalie Fontenot Stout and husband Brian and Thomas Fontenot; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Gabriel Beadle; parents, John and Elmire Doucet; infant son, Randy James Beadle; daughter, Shelia Beadle Fontenot; brother, J.B. Doucet, Jr.; sister, Velma D. Ortego; and son-in-law, James “Jim” Franklin Smith;

Visitation was held on Friday, September 13, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home in Opelousas. The rosary was recited at 9:45 a.m. by Deacon Sammy Diesi.
