Opelousas Funeral services for Ann Mae Stelly, age 83, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 26, 2010, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the St. Leo Cemetery in Leonville. Fr. Kenneth Domingue will officate the service.
Anna Mae was a resident of J. Michael Morrow Nursing Home. She died on Sunday, May 23, 2010.
Survivors include her son Russell Stelly of Baton Rouge, her long time companion Emery Marks of Leonville, her brother Harry Domec of New Orleans, LA., her sisters: Eunice Savoie of Arnaudville, Louise Guidroz of Mamou, LA., Laura Breaux and husband Ray of Carencro, and Jane Melancon, of Parks, LA., two grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
Preceed in death by her parents: Felix Domec and Blanch Thomassee Domec, and her husband Clarence Stelly.
Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas on Tuesday, May 25, 2010, from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. On Wednesday, visitation will continue in the funeral home from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
A rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening in the funeral home.
