Andrew Fontenot, Jr.

Opelousas- Memorial Services for Andrew "Drew" Fontenot, Jr., age 65, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2015, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas.
Drew was a native and resident of Opelousas. He passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at his home. He was a U. S. Army Veteran who proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. He was a sales manager for a motorcycle dealership for many years.
He was a member of the Swamp Scooters, Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club, and Acadiana Dirt Riders. He attended the Barber Vintage Motorcycle Festival in Alabama annually. He enjoyed riding his motorcycles, restoring vintage motorcycles, working in his shop, and taking pictures of his travels.
Survivors include his two daughters, Christy Fontenot of Cordova, Tennessee; and Lauren Fontenot of Columbus, Ohio; his father, Andrew Fontenot, Sr. of Opelousas; two brothers, Michael Fontenot and wife, Julie of Opelousas; and Richard Fontenot and wife, Jill of Port Barre and his fiancé, Bonne Amico of Opelousas. He is also survived by his grand dogs, Wilbur, Ryley, and Roosevelt.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Irma Marie Trosclair Fontenot.
The family gathering and visiting will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas on Saturday, April 25, 2015, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m.
