Bayou Rouge- A Visitation for Allen Dean Leger, Sr. will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the First Pentecostal Church in Bayou Rouge. A Graveside Service will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the Palmetto Methodist Cemetery in Palmetto. Pastor Bob Fruen will conduct the service.
Allen, age 76, a resident of Bayou Rouge, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his family. Allen enjoyed being outdoors fishing, hunting and riding his motorcycle.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Alicia A. Leger of Palmetto; son, Allen “Dino” Leger, Jr. and wife, Karon of Denham Springs, Ronnie Leger and wife, Florence of Fort Payne, AL; daughter, Tricha Lynn Breaux and husband, Ricky of Pierre Part, LA; step-son, Samuel Sidney Beane, Jr. of Miami, FL; brothers, James Reed Leger and wife, Janet, Gerald Leger and wife, Kathy, Leon Leger and wife, Jan and Randy Leger and wife, Daphne; sister, Pauline Leger Henagan; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his son, Eric Christopher Leger; and parents Anthony “Slim” Leger and Wilda Deshotel.
Pallbearers will be Dino Leger, Leon Leger, Gerald Leger, Jr., Ronnie Leger and John McAllister.
