Aline Rogers

Opelousas -Funeral services for Mrs. Aline Truxillo Rogers will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 25, 2015, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas. Rite of Committal and interment will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park. Deacon Jerome Collins will officiate the services.
Aline was a native of Paincourtville and a long time resident of Opelousas. She passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2015, at Opelousas General Health System at the age of 90.
Survivors include three sons, Daryl Rogers of Baton Rouge; Lonnie Rogers, Jr. and wife, Janice of Oscar; and Glyn Rogers and wife, Wendy of Opelousas; one daughter, Sherry Storm of Charlotte, NC; two stepsons, Donald Rogers and Larry Dale Rogers; one sister, Lois Dedon of Baton Rouge; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Rogers, Sr.; her parents, Willoughby Truxillo and Annette Aucoin Truxillo; three brothers, Herman Truxillo, Billy Truxillo, and Roy Truxillo; and granddaughter, Tara Rogers.
The family requests that visitation be held at Sibille Funeral home on Monday, May 25, 2015, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. A Rosary Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made in Aline's memory to the American Cancer Society.
