Alida Talley

Port Barre-Funeral services for Alida Bryant Talley will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016, at 12:00 p.m. (noon) in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Port Barre. Internment will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Rev. Benji Richard will officiate the service.

Alida was a native of Port Barre and was a resident of Diamondhead, Mississippi. She passed away on Friday, December 25, 2015, at Woodland Village Nursing Home in Diamondhead, Mississippi. She was a realtor for many years. She was known to many as "Sis" and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her sons, Kenneth "Ken" Gene Talley and his wife, Leslie of Diamondhead, Mississippi; and Thomas "Tom" Samuel Talley II and his wife, Linda of Baton Rouge; grandchildren, Amanda Stone Talley, Thomas Samuel Talley III, Flynn Bryant Talley, Brett Patrick Talley, Jordan Scott Talley and Christian Hunter Talley; and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband, Joseph William Talley; her parents, Samuel Thomas "Tommy" Bryant and Marie Alida Carriere Charles Bryant; her twin brother, Samuel "Sammy" Bryant; and her sister, Werdna Mae Bryant Savage.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. (noon) in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Port Barre.
