Alice Noel

Port Barre-A Mass of Christian Burial for Alice Guillory Noel will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2015, in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Port Barre, LA. Rite of Committal and interment will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery with Father Daniel Picard will concelebrant the Mass.

Alice passed away on February 17, 2015 in Many, LA., at the age of 95. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, tatting, quilting, family and reading.


Survivors include her son, Louis Raymond Noel of Many, daughter Barbara Noel Brown of Alexandria, LA., grandchildren, Cynitha Castille, Connie Guidry, Theresa Ruth Marks, Alexia Rojas, Linn Mattehws, Scott Brown, Barbara Malter, Alice Chambliss, Susan Noel Sands, Thirty great grand-children, thirteen great-great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband, Louis Noel, her parents, Atonise and Annie Sanders Guillory, daughter, Loretta Jean Janice, brothers, J.B. Guillory, David Guillory, Wilbert Guillory, Patrick Guillory, and Chester Guillory, sisters, Hinda Durham, Elizabeth Noel, and Agnes Nazat, grandson, Charles Noel, one great grandchild, Jody Dickson.


Visiting hours will be held in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Port Barre on Friday, February 20, 2015, from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. On Saturday, the funeral home will reopen at 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
