Alfred Charles Speyrer, Sr.

Opelousas A Memorial Mass for Alfred Charles Speyrer, Sr., age 84, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 17, 2010, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel Opelousas.
Fr. Thomas Finley will celebrate the Mass.
Alfred was a longtime resident of Arnaudville. He died on Sunday, April 11, 2010, at Opelousas General Health System.
Alfred proudly served his country during WWII in the Navy. He was also a Pharmacist for many years.
Survivors include his children: Alfred C. Speyrer, Jr. of Holdenville, Oklahoma Anton Speyrer of Leonville and Sue Speyrer Mayne of Brunswick, Maryland two brothers: Oscar Speyrer of Opelousas and Bishop Jude Speyrer of Carencro, one sister, Alice Speyrer Finley of Arnaudville two grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren.
Alfred was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Claire Schiele Speyrer and his parents: Antoine Speyrer and Emily Quebedeaux Speyrer.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturday April 17, 2010, in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas.
