Port Barre Funeral services were held for Alexis Helena Stanford, age, one day old Infant, was held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 31, 2010, with a Mass of Christian Burial in the St. Leo Catholic Church in Leonville. Interment followed in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Port Barre.
Father Ken Domingue will celebrate the Mass.
Survivors include her Parents Thomas and Pam Richard Stanford of Opelousas, paternal grandmother Gayle Gaudet Stanford of Port Barre, maternal grand parents Russell and Jane Richard of Port Barre, paternal great grand mother Ester Smith Stanford of Port Barre, paternal great grand mother Lois Harmon of Port Barre, maternal great grand mother Lydia Devillier Mayer of Port Barre, her brothers Quinton Isaac, and Elijah Thomas Stanford, her sisters Erica Clair, Ava Jayne, and Magdalen Gail Stanford all of Opelousas.
Preceded in death by her paternal grand father Ben Stanford.
