Albert Leger

Opelousas Funeral services for Mr. Albert Leger will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 23, 2014, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas. Fr. Austin Leger will officiate the services.

Albert was known to his friends as Al. He was a native of Port Barre and was a resident of Opelousas. He passed away on Friday, November 21, 2014, at his home. He was a salesman for many years. He enjoyed playing music and playing cards with his family and friends.

Survivors include his son, Kenneth Leger, Sr. of Carencro his daughter, Cynthia F. Leger and husband, Harry of Livonia one brother, Erick Leger and wife, Elsie of Sunset one sister, Philomine Tauzin of Poche Bridge five grandchildren, seven greatgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Leger and Ida Matt Leger.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas on Sunday, November 23, 2014, from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. A Rosary Service will be held on Sunday at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
