WashingtonFuneral services for Agnes Nag Soileau Deville will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2012, in the Sibille Funeral Chapel. Rite of Committal and interment followed in the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Washington, LA. Rev. Father Albert Nunez will officiate the services.
Mrs. Agnes was known to many as Nag and was a native and longtime resident of Washington, LA. She passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2012, at her home surrounded by her family at the age of 90.
She was a homemaker and loved to dance, to garden, work in her yard, and spend time with her family. She was a parishioner at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Washington. She was a wonderful, loving, and caring wife, mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her two sons, Allen Deville of Port Barre and Donald Deville and wife, Sandra Fruge Deville of Washington one daughter, Sally Deville Hebert and husband, Kenneth of Washington 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 1 greatgreatgrandchild .
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Lee Dave Deville her parents, Theodore and Adelaide Soileau 7 brothers: Leon, Lee, Homer, Milton, Clarence, John, and Curtis Soileau one sister, Elizabeth Soileau Moran and one daughterinlaw, Neva Deville.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 17, 2012, from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas. On Saturday, visitation will continue from 8:00 a.m. until the time of services in the funeral home.
A Rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday in the funeral home.
