John Briscoe

Opelousas- A Funeral Service will be held for John A. Briscoe, at a later date.

John, age 74, a resident of Opelousas, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2020. John retired from  Kerr McGee as a Operator in the Oil Field. He enjoyed doing woodwork and carpentry.

He is survived by his son, John Chad Briscoe and his wife, Abbie of Basile, sister, Porchia Ann Briscoe of Opelousas, grandchildren, Courtney Pellouquin, Kayra Lafleur, Lindsey Benoit, Miles Briscoe, great grandchildren, Brayden Frey, Arden Pellouquin, Haven Pellouquin and Jude Benoit, and Judy’s children, Shannon Thibodeaux, and Bobby.

He is preceded in death by his longtime companion, Judy Mendoza, his mother, Rita Higginbotham, daughter, Monica Lynn Lafleur, brother, Michelle Briscoe.
