Diana Stoute

Port Barre - A Mass of Christian Burial for Diana Gail Bourque Stoute will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 25, 2020, in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Fr. Clint Trahan will officiate the Mass.

Diana, age 76, a resident of Opelousas, entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 23, 2020, at Opelousas General Health System surrounded by her loved ones.

Diana was a secretary for Dupre, Carrier, and Godchaux Insurance for many years, she worked for Imperial Fire and Casualty until her retirement.

She enjoyed working puzzles on her laptop, cutting her lawn, camping, traveling, and playing Pokeno.

She is survived by son, Donavan James Stoute of Opelousas, daughter, Cynthia Marie Stoute of Opelousas, brothers, Sidney Bourque of Opelousas, Glenn Bourque of Arnaudville, and Randy Bourque of Opelousas, sister, Carolyn Fontenot of Carencro.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry James Stoute, her parents, Wilson and Lillian Darbonne Bourque.

Visitation will be held from 8:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 in the Sibille Funeral Home.
